My name is Audrey Colleen, and I’m 19 years old going on 20 June 11. I was born with a smaller right hand, and I am very short (4’ 10”). People think that it’s difficult for me to live with my hand, but I love and can do anything that I want to. I’m left-handed, but I was meant to be right-handed, which is pretty interesting.

Anyways, I love to draw and I mainly create my own cartoons. I love old classics like Little Lulu and Little Audrey. The characters I create are quite different from the usual. I draw the Loony Toonesque types like taking rabbits or skunks and making them human-like, but I also do this to other things. Like I have my own characters called The Building Girls, and they are made up of anthropomorphic skyscrapers and famous buildings. They have their own personalities and interests. I’ve also done this to planets, human organs, mental hospitals, tools, ships, and air planes. I have my own deviantart account, which is www.lilstarshine2002.deviantart.com

I also love to write, and I have been doing so since I was 6-7 years old. I haven’t written a novel yet, but I have written some pretty long stores (which suck btw, haha). I’m working on one now that contains my mental hospital characters, which I think is turning out pretty good :)

I like to paint, but I can’t say I’m a professional at it. It’s sort of new to me, but I have some blank canvases and tons of paint, and one picture in the making, so hopefully I can fully call myself a painter soon!

I’m a psychology major at a community college right now, and I plan on going on to the big university in 2 years. Right now I’m looking toward being an art therapist, because I love both subjects: art and psychology. I might even go into research psychology because I really want to help find a cure for schizophrenia. I also want to find a cure for epilepsy one day. I love everthing about psychology, but my one true interest is historic insane asylums. I love the architecture and the history of these places. Among my other interests I love collecting things, food, listening to music, Tumbling, reading, creating things, spending time with the people I love, dancing, shopping, and singing.
